If you know, you know — and if you don’t, this is your education. Bad Brains’ Rock For Light is widely considered one of the most important albums in hardcore punk and reggae fusion history, and this is a genuine original 1983 pressing on PVC Records, produced by the legendary Ric Ocasek of The Cars. Washington D.C.’s Bad Brains were untouchable at this point: blindingly fast hardcore on one side, deep meditative reggae on the other. Original PVC pressings are notoriously hard to track down in any condition, and this one grades out at VG+. A cornerstone piece for any serious punk collection.
